The HSDN, in collaboration with the Sustainable Resource Management department at Grenfell Campus and the Bonne Bay Marine Station, will assist in hosting a fall conference on October 26-7. The conference will be looking at development and sustainability, with a focus on the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Guest speakers from Quebec will be attending to discuss their ongoing research in the Gulf. In addition, presentations will be made by faculty of Grenfell Campus and the Environmental Policy Institute. A student reception will be held in the evening on October 26, where graduate and undergraduate students will give presentations and present posters related to their research on sustainability, more broadly. This will be followed by a trip to the Bonne Bay Marine Station on October 27.
