Following the success of last year, Bangla School, Toronto organized Children Summer Campaign & BBQ-2018 at Taylor Creek park, Toronto on June 30th, 2018. Like the first year, this time we received enormous responses (262 Registered Participants) from the parents, children youth, adult and seniors and partners. The event was funded by City of Toronto’s neighborhood development program while mentored by Holistic Sustainable Development Network (HSDN) International, partnering with Bangladeshi Canadian-community Services and supported by Bangladesh Association of Toronto, Ontario and Toronto Bangladeshi Parents Advisory Committee.
This amazing BBQ would not have been possible without the generous time and efforts of participants and volunteers. The event was designed with 12 different activities with lots of prizes and gifts.
Much appreciation is also extended to the MPP’s, Councillor, city representatives, community leaders who joined this program and continue till the end of this program.

To everyone that has, in one way or another, lent a helping hand, thank you for making the BBQ and Bangla School Campaign a success. This event not only bring the parents and children together but also helped to reduce the generational gap by interactive event and cultural mixing. The event was full of lots of fun and games which provide everyone a big day. The organizers are expecting this event will happen every year not only as an outing day rather an annual sporting day for the Bangla School, Toronto which is the only community run school to uphold Bangladeshi language and heritage.
